    I'm getting married there Aug 20, 2011.  Yes, it will be hot outside...

    What are you guys planning for church decorations?

    What have you experienced with working with the Cathedral on photos?

    Where are you having your receptions?

    I'm doing floral arrangements at the beginning of the isle and on the alter, as well as candles down the isle.  We'll reuse the flowers for the reception.

    Reception at the JW Marriott....trying to figure out logistics and transportation for the guest.  Any suggestions?

    I havent picked a florist yet (any suggestions??) but for the aisles I am doing tissue pomanders.

    My photographer (Sam Gregory) has shot at the Cathedral before so I am leaving it all up to him. I do know that we will not be allowed to pose in the cathedral after the ceremony, but we can take pictures on the steps outside.

    The reception is going to be at the New Orleans Marriott on Canal Street. Its walkable, but I am still planning to hire a shuttle bus for the guests.
