I may go all bridezilla on my sister/MOH..

The girls dresses came in, yay!!!

I was there with my mother, FMIL, and FG -all of whom bought dresses, yay!!

so we decided to pick up my sister's dress. The dresses were ordered in January. My sister has lost 10-15 lbs since then. She didn't think about how she planned to lose weight when ordering the dress...

Its 2 sizes too big!!! Looks awful, doesn't even fit at all!

Then she blames it on me, saying I told her to order that size. Umm one size smaller didn't zipper all the way, I said it didn't zipper plain and simple. She should have thought about the fact that she wanted to lose weight.

Then she has the nerve to say that I should ask FI's cousin to be in the wedding bc the dress will probably fit her, and she can order a new one. Excuse Me?!

I told her, calmly - its your dress, you need to do whatever you need to do so it fits you by Oct 16th. You have a few options, take it to a seamstress and see what they can do/how much it will cost. Order a new dress from the shop and try to sell the other one. Order a new dress from a place like net-bride, where it will be cheaper and try to sell the other one (but obviously there is a risk when going with places like that).

Ugh!! I commented a few weeks ago how it looked like she was losing a lot and how she needed it fit into the dress...she told me not to worry about it. Now, I'm worrying!

Thanks for letting me vent...feels better. I wish I had gotten a pic of one of my girls with the dress on, it looked amazing on her!! I kinda want one myself haha

Aw I'm sorry she is being like that :(  She may have luck with a seamstress but if she is going to lose even more, I've heard the most they can go up/down is 2 sizes.  Glad they are all here though, thats exciting!

Well it stinks your sister is being how she is.... but YAY for dresses.

Also, I ordered all my BM dresses from Net bride without an issue. They are really responsive to e-mails and any questions you may have.  They all came in earlier than expected, we ordered in October? and they were suppose to come in mid to late January, and they were in the week after Christmas.  They look awesome and my BMs were excited to save money and have a great product :o)

Hope she figures out what to do without frustrating you further
    Good Luck!

I was a bridesmaid two summers ago and my size 6 dress fit fine when purchased, however I did lose weight as the wedding date approached ending up a size 4!
The seamstress we had chosen for all alterations was able to handle the situation with no problem at all, and no stress at all.
    Good luck!
