Help!

So im having alot of trouble finding things to do for my wedding reception. my husband and i got married this past may in jamaica and now we are having a reception back home for all of our friends and extended family.

We are not having a formal dinner but we are having appitizers and a late lunch. What am i suppose to do in between food. I mean people cant talk for like 5 hours.

Please help, i will take any suggestions!

    PLay music and maybe people will dance.

    I'd also consider cutting it back to 3 or 4 hours. 5 hours is a long time for a party without a structured meal service.

    If you aren't going to have a DJ and dancing, then no your reception probably won't last 5 hours.   Most afternoon receptions only last about 2.5 hours at most.  If do you have alcohol, music, and dancing, then you could expect it to last a lot longer.

    Agreed, I'd cut the reception down. IMO a 3 hour reception is sufficient for the afternoon.
