dress alterations

I know people have probably posted about this a ton, but I'm having a really hard time searching on this board. 

I live in New Orleans and have never found a tailor I like. Does anybody have recommendations on a person to alter my wedding dress? It's very simple, actually, more of a bridesmaid dress than wedding dress. But the top needs to be taken in quite a bit.

    I went to Supreeya who owns the store Vanda on Dublin Street.  In addition to doing alterations she also makes wedding dresses. She is great.  She took in my spanish lace dress and had to adjust the lace applique to shorten my dress.  She did an impeccable job.  The dress fits like a glove. I should warn you that she is pretty expensive, but she is very talented at what she does.
