Monday Accountability

Good morning! I am off today and hell bent on getting my spare room organized......this truly will be a monumental task......
B- coffee, quaker oatmeal squares, skim milk
S- yogurt
L- leftover chicken and broccoli over wheat egg noodles
D-  grilled chicken salad or turkey tacos

E- HIIT and shoulders

  • Morning! Good luck with your cleaning - I sometimes get a sick joy out of organizing, though, so I kind of wish I was doing that instead of going to work!

    I ran 15 miles yesterday and was too tired to go to the grocery store, so I have slim pickings for food today.

    B: Multigrain Cheerios, milk, pear
    S: Yogurt
    L: Lean Cuisine, piece of fruit
    S: Piece of fruit
    D: No idea yet!

    E: Technically rest day, but there'll be about 1 hour or so of walking to/from/during work.
  • Morning!  I cleaned some yesterday, but gave up.  The 8 mile hike (turned 10 miles or so when we got lost, lol) on Saturday made my legs give up the fight yesterday.

    also, I found out on Friday that I'm probably losing my job at the end of November.  It depends on whether we get another grant funded or not.  Needless to say, it wasn't a good day.  This is normal in lab research, but I was hoping to be in this lab longer.  :-/

    B- Kashi honey sunshine, 1%milk, pretzel rods
    S- pineapple probably
    L- Homemade reuben sandwich, dole apple crisp bowl, string beans
    D- Meh, undecided.  Probably something involving leftover corned beef.

    E-  Gym, at least 1 hr of cardio, or a combo of lifting/cardio.

  • Morning.  That sucks about your job kayak. 

    We got a GIANT load of things from Home Depot yesterday, so I got a pretty good workout in the loading it onto the carts, loading it into the van, and then carrying it into the house.  20 sheets of drywall (among other things) is not light!

    B: overnight oats w/ Balkan style yogurt, skim milk, raspberries and 1/2 banana (I love this combination), coffee w/ skim milk
    S: apple and string cheese
    L: TDB, likely salad w/ chicken
    S: cottage cheese cup
    D: TBD, likely something w/ BBQ'd broccoli

    E: rest day.

  • B: frosted flakes with skim milk
    L: leftover basil and parmesan trout, mashed potatoes, rice
    S: strawberries and/or banana
    D: grilled chicken marinated in lite Italian dressing.  might try the BBQed broccoli raynes has been talking about.
    S: orange cake. not healthy, but FI made it for me :)
  • I am exhausted today. Such a busy weekend. And I had my cake, and it was delicious. Thankfully, it was all eaten so we weren't tempted to bring any home. LOL

    B- Oatmeal w/ strawberries, coffee
    L- enchilada casserole leftovers
    S- peach chobani
    D- going out with my sister and brother somewhere after I pick up my wedding dress (ahhh!)

    E- will most likely be a rest day, will be out and about for awhile tonight.

  • I did horrible this weekend! We went away with Jons whole family and needless to say, all the drama led to a lot of drinking. I thought I was going to be "good" and at least get a few hikes in, but we never ended up doing anything.

    d-salad and finally making corn chowder.

  • jonchrissy, there's a reason I don't post on the weekends - my weekends are always horrible! Haha!

    B - overnight oats w/ one blueberry oikos, 1/3 c. oats plus coffee w/ skim
    S - 1/2 of the biggest honeycrisp apple I have ever witnessed
    L - gonna have to pay for overpriced cafeteria food - no groceries at my apt. Probably gonna get some veggie soup & a half turkey sandwhich
    S - other 1/2 of monster apple
    D - probably a lean cuisine

    E - body attack class + 2 mile run to gym

    S- apple with laughing cow cheese
    D- baked chicken, mashed potatoes and lots of steamed veggie

    E- 1 hour cardio at the gym, arms and abs
