  Try to read up reviews on The Pros- they do not have a good reputation and I would not recommend using them.

  I can tell you to stay away from the Pros. I read tons of bad reveiws abouth them. The whole one stop shop thing usually not good. I've heard great things about Gemini DJ's We would have used them but we are going with a band. Also if you need a good Photog go to a photographer not a place that will sell you something they know nothing about. Fell free to PM me, I can suggest a good Photog.

  so glad i asked! after i saw the pricing for the pros i thouht there may have been something fishy. im glad to hear good things about the dj. are there any companies that are a band and dj in one?

  We're using Abella Studios for photography and videography out of Fairfield and DJMC Entertainment from Belleville. Both very reasonably priced.

  I would stay away from one stop shopping places like the Pros, they don't really specialize in one area, and I think you can do much better for your money elsewhere.

  I agree.  The one stop shops tend to be poor quality.  Maybe you can get away with this for a DJ, but I wouldn't trust them with vido or photography (and that comes from someone who's going to let family do the video).

  has anyone every heard of bella pictures?? they have some awards from the knot, but that doesnt necessarily mean they are good. thanks!

  Bella Pictures is like The Pros, although more photography/video focused (no DJ services). Like The Pros, you won't know who your photographer is until very close to the wedding. So, it's a total crapshoot, and it's very corporate. Definitely not recommended.
  
  I do know a couple who used them and recommended them to me, but I never saw their photos. Either they lucked out and got a great photographer, or they have low standards for photography.
