    Yes.  I did feel for him though at his own brother's wedding.

    The brother's wedding I understand to a point.

    DH's brother (and best man) whined that he wanted a +1 and his own hotel room. Mmmkay. We agreed, because DH's parents offered to pay for her (which they didn't, but I digress). Homegirl was just a friend, and not a close one, who stayed for part of the night, and then left early.

    I'm still waiting for my check.

    I don't expect to, either. And it's fine.

    There was another charming fellow in DH's fraternity that we invited, who replied back Mr. Presumptious and Guest.

    Uhm, no. DH called him, and Mr. Presumptious got all bent out of shape. He then suggested that him and the date would just come for the ceremony and spend the evening upstairs in a hotel room.

    When DH told him no, he whined about it to everyone that would listen for months. He didn't end up coming.
