I've never had ketchup on mac 'n cheese, and I'm not gonna lie it sounds a bit weird, but I grew up eating cold pasta with butter and ketchup, so I guess I don't have much of a leg to stand on when it comes to weird ketchup recipes.

Hi Cgooding!  I'm glad to hear that others like ketchup on their mac n cheese... my bf thinks its gross, but I love it! I grew up eating it so it's completely normal to me!

Your puppy is adorable!  I love that you say your bf has a nerd job... so does my bf... he used to work in IT now he's an engineer... both nerd jobs and he loves it and I love him for it and all his nerdy qualities, especially when I do something to my computer and he fixes it!

Please tell us more about yourself and your bf...

girl, you know i do!  and those hot pink glasses.

actually, my glasses aren't hot pink.  but they are glittery and colorful.

    <a href="http://www.go-optic.com/framelarge.asp?id=23475&cat=DFRAMES&div=2" rel="nofollow">http://www.go-optic.com/framelarge.asp?id=23475&cat=DFRAMES&div=2</a>

you can't really see the glitter here, but i promise it's there.  one night i was drugged up on painkillers and i left my glasses at my grandma's house, and FI swears i cried all night because i left them and they were my only pair "with glitter in them".

i'm a klassy geek-chic nerd, obviously.  it's all about the bling and glitter.

Speaking of flex accounts... I just realized that I signed up for one back in June!  Luckily it runs on our fiscal calendar, which ends in June, so I have awhile to use up all the money that's been pulled from my paychecks.

Any idea how I can get back-dated receipts for prescriptions?  My birth control is expensive, yo!  That's $35/month!

I got Mirena and I swear by it.  I was really lucky, my insurance categorizes it as 'medical supplies', and when administered by a doctor is covered 100%.  I paid a $15 co-pay for the appt to insert it, and that's it.

my GYN swears that any BCP i take is going to give me the acne problem.

plussssss...  part of the problem (at least, i think!) is when i forget a pill.  i think the acne flares up when i forget a day or two, or if i'm not very consistent with when i take them.  and that's totally my fault and i know it.

however, that's worth looking into Wrkn.  i'm such a scaredy-cat though!

Oooh, Coco, I get majorly scared if I miss a pill. So now I'm militant about it and I have an alarm on my iPhone that goes off at a set time every night, then again 5 minutes later. I heard somewhere that the effectiveness of BCP is lowered to about 87% on average by taking it incorrectly. Not 100% sure if it's true, but it was enough to scare me straight!

Thanks ladies!  I'll definitely ask the pharmacy... I have to figure out a few words in Spanish first, though.  I don't use that kind of vocabulary every day, and our local pharmacy doesn't speak English.  I can probably stumble my way through, but I hate feeling like I'm tripping over my own tongue.

I actually asked if I could take the generic (I used to, hated it because I had some bad side effects like acne and cramping, but I was so broke I was willing to take it again) and they said for whatever reason the generic wasn't covered by my insurance, so it would be $45 - $10 MORE than the brand name!  Well, forget that!

I also don't want to change brands since I like mine.  I'd love to do a IUD, but I have side benefits from the birth control (I have a propensity for ovarian cysts, and the BC keeps it at bay and thus protecting me from scarring and lots of pain).

Coco- IF you're having problems with the generic, I would definitely try switched to the name brand. I was on seasonale and when they switched me to Jolessa (seasonale's trashy cousin) I had more spotting and was not happy with it at all. I pay double not (from $5 to $10) but for me it's worth it. Plus, percriptions are the same price for 90 days as it would be if I were taking a BC that need to be refilled monthly.

I'm with Wrkn on Mirena. Eight months on it so far, and it's been great. I'm apparently one of those lucky ones, because getting it didn't hurt at all. And I just paid the $10 co-pay. Score!

Also, back to the mac n cheese, I've never tried ketchup, but I do like to mix it with chili. Now FI just loves that. He won't eat plain mac n cheese.
