We finally agreed on an invitation and are working on the details.  How many weeks before the wedding should the RSVP date be?  We have to have a final count 2 weeks before and I figure we need to call people who don't respond so I was thinking like 4-5 weeks.  Am I really far off?

    5 weeks out is alot.  I'd put it 1-2 weeks before you need to send in your final count.

    I have to send my final count 2 weeks before the wedding, so my RSVP date will be one month before the wedding.

    I did 2 weeks. RSVP Date May 1st. Final Count Date May 15th.

    I agree with 2 weeks before you have to have a final headcount -- 1 week for people who are like "OH SHIIT, THE RSVP DATE IS TODAY!" so you receive it a couple days late. And another week to get ahold of people if you haven't received anything
