Outdoor Ceremony/Reception location

We are having the toughest time selecting the perfect location for our wedding.  We'd like an outdoor event with beautiful backdrops.  We're even considering a formal tented reception.  I love the gardens - however, Cleveland Botanical Gardens seems too expensive and Stan Hywet Hall doesn't allow chairs during the ceremony.  So, we're back to looking again.  Any ideas for location??  I would greatly appreciate your input :)

    You might want to check out the mooreland mansion.  Its really beautiful.  Or what about Windows on the River?  Or maybe the walden?  Those are some that came to mind. Have you checked out the reception area on the knot or search through the board?

    We are having ours at their LAntern Court Location which is perfect for out small intimate wedding. They're greensward lawn is right next to their gardens and has plenty of space for a tent. They're some of the nicest people too!!!! Good luck!

    We are having our October wedding at Happy Days Lodge in Peninsula.  It offered us the perfect backdrop for our outdoor wedding and indoor reception so we didn't have to rent a tent.  Very reasonable and the big plus if it rains you also have an indoor option for the ceremony separate from the reception area.

    My fiancee and I were looking for that gorgeous backdrop for our wedding as well. We are getting married at The Oaks on Chippewa Lake in seville, OH. I don't know how far away that is from you, but the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, best of all you can have wedding and reception all in one location :0)

    A great lake front location I would suggest is Whiskey Island in Cleveland. It is a beautiful place for outdoor tented weddings and a beautiful sunset. I can get you pics if you would like.

    We are having our wedding/reception at Mooreland Mansion. It is beautiful and they hold 156 people wedding and reception.
