I can see that. I don't like fake nails (they're too thick)...though I must admit I have had them a couple times in the past. Admittedly I started wearing the red because I bit all my purdy long nails off about 2 weeks ago. Yes...I am an on again/off again nail biter ladies.

UO: It's really bothering me that people keep calling "Mrs. [H's last name]." I know they're saying it out of sweetness and I haven't been reacting with snark or anything, but I can't deny the fact that it bugs me a little that everyone in the world just assumes I'm changing my name.

(I know that's not really an opinion, but keeping my last name in an unpopular action--at least in my part of the world--and I needed to vent about it a little, so I snuck it in here).

It IS becoming more common, which kind of adds to my frustration. It's not like I'm doing something unheard of, but when I tell people that I've kept my name, I get this:

Just wondering (and I don't mean this offensively AT ALL) but how were you introduced after the ceremony and at the reception. I've always wondered about this.

And at the reception, the DJ said something like "Let's give a round of applause for [my first and last name] and [his first and last name]."

U/O - I don't like massages. I'm ticklish, and have a low pain threshold, so I just do not enjoy them.

I don't love the fingerprint tree thing because of how messy it is. I did mine this way so we could skip the ink pad. People signed a leaf with a navy sharpie. It worked great.

I like color on my toes and french manicures on my fingers. Neither are long enough for a french manicure right now, though.

1. I can't handle manicures either. As soon as there's a small chip or anything, I HAVE to have it all off. Pedicures, however, are amazing and I love them.

2. I call my daddy Daddy. I don't know if it's a Southern thing, but my mom does it too, and so do a lot of my female coworkers. I also refer to Tyler as daddy when I'm talking to the dogs, and he refers to me as mommy to the dogs.
