Confessions

We haven't done this in a while.

I really think I want to go see the Justin Bieber movie. I don't know why and I can't explain it.

Ooh, I love the confessions threads!

I gave my two-weeks' notice on Friday. Even though I have a ton of stuff on my desk that they'd love me to get through, I wish they'd cut me loose early. In a bad way.

Also, one of the managers (not my direct mgr) is pretending that I don't exist now... and it's hilarious to me. I think she thinks she's hurting my feelings though.

Agreed. That "Neber Say Never" song is just so damn catchy.

This sounds super b!tchy, but this is a confession space:

I have taken the initiative to eat whole foods, remove artifical sweetners and actually work on my fitness rather than just worry about working out just to lose weight. I am little judgy on a friend of mine who is eating 1200 calories worth of Lean Cuisine and 100 calorie packs while complaining about being hungry all the time.

If you can't take the time to understand the science behind losing weight, I can't take the time to find pity for you.

I confess that if one more person asks me "so, do you need me to return this RSVP?" I may snap.

I confess that sometimes I feel like I may be a little too snarkalicious for mod'ing anymore.

She will lose weight she will just be hungry, miserable and jack up her metabolism in the process. I choose whole foods all day long and try not to worry about others choices anymore.

I confess I have Justin Beiber on my workout playlist, along with Kesha, a ton of Glee and eminem. I actually truly like Eminem.

I also confess I am strongly considering walking down the aisle to a Linkin Park song (piano version).

I confess that the bratty little sister in me wants to tell my sis "tough noodles" and stick my tongue out her like we were kids again. :)

I also confess that I totally cheated on the diet last night - I couldn't say no to smores and god, they sound so good again as I type this.

I confess that I've been eating like a big piggy (read: Cici's buffet AND Cotton Patch Chicken Fried Chicken last week) and I'm still losing weight. It has to be my awesome Body Pump class. HAS to be.

Sadly, I've got to get back to normal. I know this trend will be short lived.

Since I can never get enough of Office references, do you mean Justice Beaver? ;)

FI is hooked on Ke$ha and has made her new song his daily alarm sound. I confess that I am beginning to like when he sings it. Her other songs really drive be BSC, but the way he overexaggerates it is hilarious.

Every time I hear ANY song now, I wonder how much better it would sound if the Glee cast covered it.

I confess that I'm really interested to hear why the other bridesmaids (wedding that I'm a BM in august) need $1000 to throw a bridal shower when the MOB is paying for the venue?

I don't want to anti up the $200, but now I feel like a B even though I already shelled out $500 for a ticket to fly up for her B Party, $500 for tickets for me & FI to fly up for the wedding, plus a hotel room, and of course a gift for the wedding. I plan on shipping her a gift to open at the shower, is that not enough?

There better be some gold as presents with that much money.

I confess I'm sick of my little sister's (MOH) attitude! She's been super helpful with wedding stuff and I appreciate everything she's done, but she makes this ridiculous comments. She undermines me all the time and gets jealous when my cousins (two of my BMs) tell me things before her. You can't be the center of attention. She's been practicing her hair for the wedding, asking people what they think of it, at church and other events. I think with her attitude something as small as that is bugging me.

What you're doing is enough. You're getting married too. I would tell the others that the bride understands and be done with it.

I knew their songs, but I didn't know the artist...and the two songs I would've used for the wedding were out ( I think) but weren't really big at the time that I can recall so I wouldn't have even thought to look for them.

I love "Marry Me!" It makes my heart happy.

I considered using Drops of Jupiter for my father daughter dance because I remember us listening to that song over & over one weekend when I was younger and we were riding a motorcycle through hill country before he moved away. He wants a more traditional song though.

That's so funny! I might start thinking that now ... I was really surprised that I liked "Firework" when Glee did it. I normally turn the station when that song comes on the radio, with Katy Perry singing it.

I confess that the only CDs I've bought in the last year have all been Glee soundtracks.

LOL my dad is definitely not country but that's the exact song he suggested too!! It's a little to sappy for me, I guess because he wasn't around a lot when I was growing up so some of the lyrics don't apply (like him tucking me in at night). But I figure if that's what he wants he can have it.
