    Do you have a theme?nope, not really.  We had our wedding at a Victorian house so we tried to keep it flowing with the same style.
    What are your cake flavors?Our cake was a combo of vanilla sour cream cake with chocolate filling, chocolate pound cake with white chocolate filling, and our top layer was a mixture of both cakes.
    What color are your shoes?Champagne/gold
    How much are you DIYing?I did absolutely no DIY.  My MIL DIYed my card box and that was about it.
    Where are you going for your honeymoon?We went to Maui.  DH actually had a dream about it yesterday and I tried to convince him that we should go back soon! *fingers crossed*

    Red and Silver

    Do you have a theme?
    No, I just went off of the two colors.
    What are your cake flavors?
    First and second layer was carrot cake with cream cheese filling, third layer was yellow sponge with strawberry (fruit not cream) filling, and last layer was red velvet with cream cheese filling....mmmm i want some now!
    What color are your shoes?
    Red

    How much are you DIYing?
    Not much, only STD's and Card box and a few other things.
    Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    We went to Southlake Tahoe....we plan to go somewhere tropical for our One year anniv.

    black and purple

    Do you have a theme?

    we have a movie theme. Our ceremony music is all from movies. Escort cards are movie tickets and table names are movies.

    What are your cake flavors?

    3 favors of cupcakes - boston cream pie, peanut butter chocolate, and hummingbird

    What color are your shoes?

    black

    How much are you DIYing?

    not a lot. We did some print stuff ourselves. Our big project is we made a movie that we are showing at the reception. It's a documentary short about our life.
    Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    My fiance has planned it as a surprise. He is going to announce it at the reception!

    Yes we do! Alice in Wonderland

    We still have not picked our cake, but we know we want red velvet :)

    Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    Initially FI wanted to go to NYC for New Years and see the ball drop. Since I got the wedding I thought he should pick a location for the honeymoon, but deep down I've always wanted to go a Tropical and he knew that so to get more for our buck we are considering going to the Bahamas.

    Nothing is set in stone but I think the Bahamas is a HUGE posivitely now     Laughing

    Mellie- a surprise honeymoon would make me so nervous.  Is he at least going to tell you if it's going to be hot or cold?

    We are not leaving on the honeymoon right away. It will be delayed. I am not nervous. We have talked about a lot of locations. We want to go everywhere! :) The one rule he had was, we could not go to Hawaii! We have already been there.

    He didn't really surprise me with the proposal, so he wanted to do this for me. I think it is fun. And, it is one less thing I have to plan!

    we have a cherry blossom/japanese theme going

    marble cake with raspberry mousse and white cake with island pineapple creme

    just plain white!
    How much are you DIYing?
    a lot! luckilly we started diy'ng right after we got engaged last april so i'm not stressed at all right now.
    Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    we are going to kauai for 7 nights. we sooo excited about going tubing and zip lining. we'll be staying at a condo so we get to prepare our meals if we want to :)

    Where are you going for your honeymoon? - mini-moon to Napa, longer honeymoon to Paris

    What are your wedding colors?

    I think of it more of a palette: Lavender, Purple, Ivory, Gold and Dark Red.  I ended up having to add in silver since the embroidery on my dress is silver.

    Do you have a theme? 

    Reception has an enchanted forest theme.

    What are your cake flavors?

     Lemon ginger, chocolate, pink champagne with rasberry filling, and tiramisu

    What color are your shoes?

         I wanted purple, I got ivory instead(too late to change--I am happy with them because they are comfortable and they match my dress).

    How much are you DIYing?

    As much stuff as possible.

    Where are you going for your honeymoon?

    Our new house.  We were going to go to Europe, but we decided between going some place nice for a few weeks versus living some place nice for many years.   Europe can wait until we rebuild our savings.

    What are your wedding colors?
    Deep sea/peacock blue (not teal, not navy...somewhere in between?),  with ivory, light pink, chocolate brown accents.

    Do you have a theme?
    Not really a theme, but we are incorporating elements of science/chemistry, since my fiance is a chemist and the wedding is at the Athenaeum at Caltech. Our centerpieces will use chemsitry glassware (flasks, beakers, etc) as the vases, and we'll use different elements of the periodic table as table names.
    What are your cake flavors?
    Chocolate with raspberry and ganache, vanilla with strawberries and cream cheese, chocolate with mocha mousse. I can't wait!

    What color are your shoes?
    Ivory

    How much are you DIYing?
    Not much...guest book, STD's, that's about it. Oh, I glued the invitations to paper backing? That doesn't really count.

    Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    Maui for 8 nights! We just booked this week, I am so excited!

    um not really just going off the colors.. but we are planning on using diamons and crystals sooo kinf of like "Glamourous Life"???

    We have not decided yet.. but for sure we'll have butter cream

    I want either silver or a deep purple anything with diamonds added

    ... table numbers, names, programs,.... Card box... a few party favors... candy buffet... centerpieces (I won't be placing them)....  Not sure about the invites yet ;)

    As of right now we have our hopes set for Cancun... but if it continues to be "not tourist safe" we'l l probably end up somewhere in hawaii!

    What are your wedding colors?
    Baby blue, tan, sage green, white, and grey (sort of a pallette)
    Do you have a theme?
    No.  We are getting married in our hometown so we tried to use as many local vendors as possible  (I joke that the theme is "Claremont") and we are playing off of the look of our venue by incorporating a lot of succulents - very foothills/desert looking.
    What are your cake flavors?
    Lemon with lemon curd filling.  Yum!
    What color are your shoes?
    Blush pink with a gold sheen.  I heart them.
    How much are you DIYing?
    More than I expected: the chuppah, STDs, programs, table numbers, escort cards, reserved signs, direction signs, petal cones, card box, guest book, OOT booklets.  I also bought all of the vases for the tables.
    Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    Paris!!

    Our wedding colors are chocolate brown, white and olive green

    Umm.. Simple and clean looks

    I tried a guava cake and I liked it but I havent decided on it for sure.

    I HEART Shoes. I want three pair: one for the church (white), one for after church pictures (brown or olive green) and then some party shoes (hot pink?)

    Not too much:

    Where are you going for your honeymoon?
    I sadly might only get 3 days off after our wedding. I won't know until May so for now our idea is to go to napa. Hopefully I get more days so we can go somewhere

    crnota- I can't wait to see what your tables look like.  I've never seen flasks and beakers as centerpieces.  I think this is a great idea!

    My wedding isn't for a while but we kind of have it planned!

    ***Qeumiras- The Bahamas are great! We went this past Oct and it was so nice! The Atlantis Hotel is the best ever!
    ***Tilliea- Great idea about buying your home instead of going on a honeymoon! You have the rest of your lives to vacations!

    We are doing a Baseball theme. Our wedding will be at Dodger Stadium and we are huge baseball fans!

    We aren't too sure but the FI is in charge of flavors and I know he wants red velvet for sure

    I am thinking of doing black

    So we said we are doing Invites, table names, STDs, and  Favors

    Bora Bora! I think it is so beautiful and I wanted something Tropical.

    Thanks, Jagore....I'm excited about seeing it at the floral trial!

    Since coming up with that idea, I have actually seen several blogs and photo shoots incorporating glassware as vases....so I guess my idea wasn't THAT original. :P  But I still think it will be cool (and new to everyone at the wedding).

    I'll be sure to share pics of the big day!
