Good morning ladies! What's everyone up to this weekend?
I am just getting ready to take off actually, we are roadtripping north to see my sister and do a dress fitting :) I'm not sure how far she's gotten, but excited to see my dress!!!
Visited my mentor last night and picked up our Cord of Three Strands for the ceremony and the veil I am borrowing off her. So excited, it makes it all seem SO much more real!!!!!!

    Good Morning Britt! I'm so excited for you to post more pics of your dress!! Can't wait to see what your sister has gotten done, I am going to have a lazy day of doing some more DIY, then the family is getting together @ my Mums to celebrate the March birthdays!

    We're going down to the beach for the weekend. So excited. FH's family has a place on the Eastern Shore in Virginia. I'm pretty sure we're getting a bunch of steamed seafood for dinner.

    Quiet weekend for us, going to get some more planning out the way this weekend. FI is taking me driving today and tomorrow. I am so excited I am finally getting my driver's license (freak accident scared me to never want to drive). Hopefully I can hook up with my sister and go fabric shopping later on today for my wedding dress so I can get an sample so I can start shopping for accents and my shoes for the dress.

    Can't wait to see pics Britt!  I am visiting FI this weekend so being lazy in the hotel today while he's at work.  When he gets out we are going to the mall to so I can try out some makeup at Sephora for the wedding, get the stones checked on my e-ring (have to do every 6 months under the warranty and today is 1 year since our engagement), and to look at chains for FI.  We already have our rings but the nature of his work would make it dangerous for him to wear a ring so we want to buy him a nice chain to keep it on when he's working (one because we think wedding rings are meant to be worn but mainly because we know he'll lose it if he take it on and off).  Tomorrow I'll head home early when FI leaves for work but hope to start his photobook when I get home.

    This weekend is my LAST WEEKEND of working before I start my new job and work Monday through Friday again. Can you tell I'm excited about that? Unfortunately it's also super boring because I'm training someone else to do my job and she's mostly trained so that means I'm mostly...not doing anything. But we had goodbye cupcakes at work today and more sweets on my actual last day on Wednesday so this week isn't looking too bad! Also, since it's St. Patty's day and my office is on 6th ave in midtown NYC I'm hearing lots of drunken yelling today. So that's interesting.

    I worked until 3 today. Later tonight FI & I are heading out with a few of our friends for some St. Patty's Day debauchery. Tomorrow is the home opener for our soccer team (Philadelphia Union), so we're going to the game. Should be fun!

    My son comes home today so I was busy getting some DIY stuff done. He's been gone a whole week so I miss him dearly. I know he'll have me pulling my hair out by 2pm but the house just feels empty without him ;)

    I got my wreath and a pomander made; I'm thrilled with the results! I'm kinda kicking myself for even hiring a florist at this point because I really could have done most of it myself. Oh well, I do like my florist a lot and she is recreating my DREAM bouquet (CLICK HERE).
