[QUOTE]Yeah, that's EXACTLY what happened.  Everyone sat around and ate nothing, and just took everything home.

That's what I thought. Gosh, Kuus, that makes for an awkward party. Maybe next time you should consider ordering a pizza or something. Good luck and keep us posted!

you said "no leftovers" and then said "no leftovers for US."  leftovers traditionally implies leftovers for the cook.

kuus, it's okay.  just stick to curing cancer (quickly, please) and leave the cooking to people who want something that tastes as good as it looks.

Okay, i'm genuinely confused here.  I said no leftovers, then clarified that I meant exactly what you said above.

mine is from cook's illustrated and involves a panade -- milk/yogurt mixed with torn bread.  you get best results using meatloaf mix -- beef, veal, pork.  you wrap the whole thing in bacon and serve with a brown suagr-ketchup glaze.  i always make twice as much glaze and serve some on the side.\

Am I the only one that uses a rice cooker?

    And condensed soup in meatloaf?

I made a turkey meatloaf a couple nights ago - used milk-soaked bread crumbs, shredded carrots, onions, various spices and flavorings. Covered it with bacon & ketchup, cooked it for just over an hour, and it was surprisingly delicious.
