Where is everyone?!

This board seems too quiet today! What is everyone up to? I'm waiting for laundry to finish up so I can fold all of it and put it away. I need to get stuff ready for dinner tonight and get my things ready for fall classes to start.

Whatcha making for dinner? I haven't even thought that far ahead yet which is bad since I needed to take something out of the freezer. Whoops.

I'm waiting on this meeting at work to start. It's at noon and we possibly don't have quorum which will suck so bad b/c it's a huge waste of time. They'll do like half the meeting but they can't vote on anything so they put it off until next month which means a longer meeting then. Just a hassle. But free lunch so the good with the bad I suppose.

What are you in school for?

I'm here waiting to start work. I'm working for my old job this week which is on the west coast so my hours are 12-8 for me. It sucks that I've been up since 5am with H and feel like I've had a whole day already and haven't even started work yet.

I'm eating lunch, which is what I had for dinner last night, which is what I will have for dinner tonight, and lunch tomorrow...lol. I made entirely too much spaghetti last night.

I'm so bored with my work. It is the same thing every.single.day for the past 6 years.

I've also been late the past two days, because my ass can't seem to get up with my alarm clock.

I'm thining about making BLT's for dinner, my bacon is in the freezer though, so I probably need to thaw it out a little. I'm in school for nursing. I couldn't work late from home, I would definitely get distracted. Anything that involves work meetings is not fun.

Yeah the hours suck, I could never do this full time. But for some easy money for the week to fill in I'll deal with it. At least the phone starts slowing down towards the end too, and I think last night I only had one call between 6 and 8pm.

I had an early lunch, which was good for my tummy but bad for making the day go by faster.

I finally got an office assignment, and while its not ideal I just cant let it upset me anymore. Now comes the fun part of wading through mountains of paper to pack up this office to move.

And I just got sharpie all over my finger trying to write on moving labels. Way to go, Button.

No idea what I'll make for dinner tonight. I'd like to go next door and buy Chinese food for lunch though.

I work completely alone in a satellite office and haven't had anything to do all week. I'm going out of my freaking mind.

I also get my fair share of rednecks that I have to talk too, which while at first was entertaining, now irrationally pisses me off. I'm in an office by myself all day, so I Knot, coupon, and answer phones.

So my grandmother has been really mum about my aunt's upcoming nuptials- like, they went dress shopping back home recently and she wouldnt tell us where they went or what she found, which was really unlike Gram not to share. Apparently there is concern I might copy her. I'm not taking it personally, but I think its hilarious, since we both have completely different styles/visions (she's have a DW on a tropical beach, FI and I have a late fall/early winter, traditional-type wedding in the works). Plus I am not a crazypants, nor do I feel like the very low cut, backless dress we now know she picked out is remotely my style.

It's only 10:20 here and I'm already contemplating lunch. Our gloomy weather today (finally below 100!!) is making me crave comfort food. I don't think I'll be able to find my mom's porcupine meatballs and green bean casserole in a take out joint though.

Just got back from SFalls with DD. We stayed over last night as she had her nursing boards very early this AM. Poor girl won't know if she passed or not until tomorrow, but feels good about it.

Got her all outfitted for RD, bridal makeup and another dress to wear to a friend's wedding a couple weeks after hers.

AND, I got my dress! It fits perfectly EXCEPT it is too short with the shoes I had planned on wearing. So, need to find some with less heel. No biggie. I like it and feel like it is flattering to my non-existant figure. Ruching in strategic places actually creates the illusion of a waist! WOOHOO!

ETA: That is funny Button. Imagining Gram and Auntie wedding shopping on the sly, wearing disguises.
