Seriously, I think TK needs to make a new board called Validation. Then all these brides who get so pissed when they're told they have a bad idea can just stick to the "validation" board where it will be all rainbows and butterflys and unicorns for them.

That is all. I just wanted to vent.

I'm glad you have judged me based on my age. What next judge me because I only go to church every sunday, I only work 2 jobs, I only go to school full time, I only am paying for my entire wedding myself, my fiance and I have only been together for over 3 years....take your pick.

Doesn't this already exist as "Just Engaged"? If people start to disagree with the OP, the thread is closed. I don't know if gets more puppies & rainbows than that. Except maybe a club board, which is probably why I don't spend much time on mine.

Don't get me wrong. I love both puppies and rainbows--just not validation of awful ideas.

It's too bad I wasn't able to see this earlier. I never judged you based on your age, ever. I thought you posted something ridiculous that was tangentially age-related, but it was the content of the post, not your age, that made me roll my eyes. And if you really want to nitpick, I made a point of saying in the other recent young brides thread (since it comes up every.single.day on the Students board) that I think life experience often trumps age. So get over yourself.
