addressing inner envelope

I bought my invites at Target and printed them myself.  The set I got has a silver inner envelope that the invite & RSVP card slides into from the end but it doesn't close.  Is it ok to address that as the inner envelope or should I just not address it at all?  My mom says to address it MOH says not to.  Help! TIA!

Re: addressing inner envelope

  • if it were me, i would address them with special names, "Aunt Sarah & Uncle Ed", "Favorite Cuzzie Jenny", or nicknames, like my brother would be "Meeam" another brother is "Benjamiah", or my sister would be "BEST MOH EVER!!!"

    something extra, ya know?

or if youre less goofy than me, and you probably are, just first names.

  • Can you post a photo?  It might be a marsupial pouch rather than an envelope.  If that's the case, you normally don't address those, but you could do a belly band with names on it.

  • I couldn't get it to post on here so I put my wedding website on my signature it is under the DIY section.  Thanks alot.
  • I think the belly band is the best way to go, since there's no clear front/back of the pocket.
