Help with Baltimore area photographer!! Freaking out Bride

Hi girlsss! Please HELP! Was planning on going with The Pros but I have heard so many mixed reviews, I dont think Im gonna do it. Our wedding on April 1st in Baltimore MD, and is a 20 guest intimate wedding that will be held everything in the same spot. Can someone PLEASE recommend an affordable, good photographer?? I just find that there are so many of them that are so expensive. And for me it is so unfair that a wedding package for 20 guest, 1 location cost the same as a wedding package for 200 guest and more than 1 locations. Thanks!

    A photographer is paid according to hours NOT how many people or locations you have.  It doesn't matter that you only have 20 people because the photographer will still use the same (4-7 hours) to photograph your wedding as they would to photograph and 200 guest wedding.

    Maggie- Not necessarily, I know of at least 1 photographer that edits his pricing based on # of guests right on his website.  In fact several I spoke with asked me for my guest count before they even gave me a quote.  Also, a few photographers I talked to actually upcharged for adding locations.

    OP- what is your budget and time frame you are looking to fill (4hours? 8 hours?)

    OK Jason Knauer offers a mini package for 5 hours, last year he quoted $900 for this so it might have gone up.  Arpasi Photography is something like $300 per hour, Brenda Murphy offers very reasonable rates probably something close to $1000 for what you are looking for.  If your budget is closer to 1500, look into Chad Lippiatt, Mark Anthony, and Brodie Ledford.  Trang Dam and Be photography are just a hair above that but both have good quality.
