School is...ok. Honestly, I'm pretty over it. The people in my program are all very dramatic, opinionated, and loud. I feel like I'm back in high school sometimes.

I'm hopefully getting a new apartment at the end of the semester though

I've started looking a bit. I hate my apartment now (it's the university apartments and they are crap!)

Sorry your colleagues are making it rough on you. I don't have much tolerance for melodrama, either.

I'm stuck at the office for two more hours. I don't like to wish my life away, but I really wouldn't mind a fast forward button right now.

At least it seems to be slowing down here. I'm watching some Netflix now.

I'm watching some old episodes of The West Wing. I've seen the whole series a couple of times already, but it never gets old to me.

Earlier today I watched a documentary: "Vegucated." I think I'm scarred for life and may never eat meat again.

I watch a bit of everything. Right now I'm watching King of the Hill. I forgot they put West Wing on instant play I've never seen it but you've convinced me I need to!

I'm also trying to get through Dr. Who.

I watched a few episodes of Dr. Who and it just didn't grab me. I really want to like it, though.

West Wing is sooooo good. I'm sure I enjoy more because it features an administration I would support in real life, but mostly it's just witty, fast, and interesting. You should definitely check it out, and let me know if you do!

Hey everyone I'm at home, bf has a stomach bug so I've been taking care of him all day. I got my Brazilian, went to the grocery store to get bf some Gatorade and saltines and bought myself a pint of Ben and Jerry's froyo. And I ate the whole freaking thing. It's okay though because its the only thing I ate today lol. I just found out that I have to work next weekend so bf will be taking over the Super Bowl party. I feel so bad but he should be able to handle it. Ughhhhh

It sucks your BF is sick. BF always becomes such a baby when he gets sick!

We just got back from the grocery store and I decided I'm never going grocery shopping with him again. I don't mind grocery shopping but he hates it and gets grumpy and rushes me through it.

We also picked up a movie to watch tonight :)

Hi!

I thought I'd pop in before I get back off my bed to go finish unpacking. I unpacked 5 boxes last night, plus a box of kitchen stuff. I have 4 more to go, and then a LOT of organizing.

I went grocery shopping today, so we have food in the house, and BF's parents picked up my mattress and box spring from my parents' and brought them over. I decided that it's probably a good idea to wash my mattress cover, so I'm waiting for that to dry, and then I can make my bed!

Also, I had chipotle for dinner and am now feeling guilty. $140 on groceries and then I ate out. For shame...

@buddysmom, I'm sorry your bf is sick. The flu is crazy and on top of it there's a stomach thing going around too. It's awful! Several of my coworkers have been out for weeks at a time. At this point, I'm just drinking Purell.

I'm actually off this weekend for a chance so FI and I are drinking wine, making homemade chicken soup and taking it easy.

Did anyone watch The Following? We watched it on demand last night and it was pretty awesome.

Thanks ladies for the well wishes. He just went to bed hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow. Bf is also verrrry grumpy with grocery shopping lol. If he still feels sick tomorrow I get to do the grocery shopping alone! Peek glad to hear the moving in process is going well!

I highly recommend tea as a cure all. Peppermint helps settle the stomach, but Earl Grey will do in a pinch. :-)

Also, as soon as I get all unpacked I think I'm going to do a blog post on my room. Because I'm basically in love with it.

My BF is also verrrry grumpy when we go grocery shopping. I've learned not to take him! I hope your BF feels better Buddy. The stomach flu sucks. I'm making chicken chili in the crock pot right now. I hope it's good...I'm having my parents over for dinner so luckily I don't have a lot of people to impress.

I'm annoyed. FI and I went out to dinner and then he wanted to come home but I wanted to go meet our friends for drinks and he was acting like a huge baby about it so we came home. Now I'm on the couch watching a stupid hockey game that I couldn't give two shlts about with my makeup that I spent 30 minutes putting on and he's on the stupid computer. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I went rock climbing yesterday. It was awesome. I also went to the gym this morning. I was feeling pretty good until I stepped on the scale. Oh it was so painful. Today was a glorious day so it was hard to be upset for long.

Can I ask where you guys started in Dr Who? I find placement means a lot.

Hi ladies, it's gotten a little slow in here today. I hope everybody had a good day and if not, I hope it has gotten better. I've been packing and cleaning since I'm off to FL tmrw to visit my bestie, spend time with my god sons and wait for my third god child to arrive. I can't wait to get to some warmer weather, especially since we just had some snow, sleet and ice. I hope you all have a great rest of the weekend and a great week!
