Share your favorite slow cooker recipes!

I love using our slow cooker, since I'm lazy and hate making dinner after work. I'm in a rut though, and basically only make pulled pork in it lately...so share your ideas!!

Here is one ridiculously amazing <Korean Beef Taco> recipe that everyone should try. Now you go.

Re: Share your favorite slow cooker recipes!

  • I make bake potato soup in the crock pot. I'll post the recipe later when I'm not on my phone. H makes chili but I don't think he follows a recipe. Last week I just threw a few chicken breasts in the crockpot all day and then shredded it. I froze some and used the rest to make stuffed shells, quesadillas, and chicken salad throughout the week. It was nice to have on hand. That's all I got but I'm definitely looking forward to other suggestions! I don't do a lot of crockpotting when it's just me.
  • Seriously bitches?? Give me recipes!!!! Laughing

  • Dude I'm no help. I haven't even bought a crock pot yet and ive been meaning to. Yeah you can laugh at me now.... haha. But this thread will be helpful and if it gets enough, I say make it a sticky!!!
  • I'm not sharing anything with you!

  • I don't have any recipes.  I just toss stuff in the crock pot and it usually comes out good.  This week I put a pork loin in the crock pot and cooked it for about 10 hours and then drained the water, poured a whole bottle of BBQ sauce (mustard based) and just pulled the pork a part with a fork and boom I had BBQ.
  • I  hate all of you.

Okay, here's the BP soup recipe http://www.mamalovesfood.com/2009/06/baked-potato-soup-slow-cooker-style.html

Another thing I thought of would be doing a roast in the crock pot.  Get a roast (eye of round, I think?) throw it in there with some water, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and cut up potatos, onions, carrots, and celery.  It makes delicious leftovers for roast beef sandwiches too.

ETA:  Also, have you seen this website? http://www.skinnytaste.com/2007/07/crock-pot-recipes.html I've been meaning to try some of her recipes, including the crock pot ones!
