Looking for a Waterfall for Trash the Dress

Hey Ladies,

I'm an O'ahu native, but live on the mainland . . . I think the idea of a waterfall would be awesome for a trash the dress session, but I would need one that's easily accessible . . . who wants to hike mile after mile carrying their wedding gown?

Any ideas?

Eek! Watch out for leptospirosis in Hawaii fresh waters! Also, depending on the season (amount of rainfall), some waterfalls will be brown and will hardly be flowing. Some places will allow you to swim, but only if there's a lifeguard there on that day (call first). I'm guessing Kauai may be your best bet?

What about Manoa Falls? It's not as swimmable/pretty as Maunawili, but a close second. IMO the hike is a lot easier. We'll be taking our family and friends on that hike prior to the wedding.
