How was everyone's weekend!

We spent Friday moving to my new place - so nice to be finally done moving/unpacking!  I really love the new room.  Saturday, we went mini-golfing and got dinner with a friend, and yesterday FI left and I went to the beach with a friend and then watched the World Cup.

    I bet you're excited to be done moving! FI and I are moving two weeks from today, so we spent most of the weekend boxing things up. We also went to see Harry Potter on Saturday, and had dinner at a middle eastern restaurant we hadn't been to before. Yum!

    My weekend was nice, with lots of time spent around the house :) I worked on quite a few DIY projects, I'll post pics later... very proud of myself! I see somehting I like and then say - I could totally make that! My FMIL is working on some things for me this week - which is super nice. She is calling about transportation and hotel room blocks. We also started thinking more about RD, and I think we are going to have it at Six Penn, which is where FI and I had our first date.

    MD - FI and I also went mini-golfing Saturday with his niece, it was a really nice night to be out. Glad you are all settled in the new place!

    mookow - What restaurant did you try? I love middle eastern!

    Hey!

    So this weekend was definitely moving weekend.... We moved everything in the new place, but we still have mountains of boxes everywhere. Hopefully I can conquer everything in the next week! I love love love our new place though and can't wait to have everything settled.

    I also went and saw Harry Potter, and of course I loved it. I will probably go see it again this week in 3D :-)

    Other than that I got to hang out with my FMIL and take her to Ikea (she's never been before). I have an Ikea kitchen in my new place, so I get to pick out all the little drawer dividers and things to put in my kitchen, which I am way to excited about. Also picked up some other random storage things there

    MD- Glad you like your new place and got everything done! I haven't been mini-golfing in a while but I am craving to go again this summer.

    Lindsay- I'm very jealous of your craftiness. Be sure to put pics up!

    Mook- Be sure to tell us which restaurant, I'm curious as well.

    sari - congrats on finishing your move too!  So exhausting!  I loved HP too but wish a few things were different... def need to see it again!

    Sounds like you all have fun and eventful weekends!

    On Friday, FI and I went out to dinner.  We ate outside, it was a beautiful evening and a Beatles cover band was playing right across the street so I was in heaven.

    Saturday, we had a friend over and spent most of the day on our rooftop pooldeck.  The back of my legs got sunburnt  :/  but other than that, a very relaxing day.

    Sunday, I went to the JCrew in Georgetown to try on some weddng gowns.  There were two that I really liked.  My mom will make the trip down sometime in the near future to gown shop with me, so we'll probably go back to JCrew to see if she likes them too!  After that, FI and I watched the World Cup, played some board games and just took it easy.

    Hope everyone has a GREAT week!

    The middle eastern restaurant was Sababa in Squirrel Hill. I had the shwarma over lentils and rice and it was sooo tasty.

    Hi ladies ! Sounds like everyone had an eventful weekend!

    Saturday We came home from our Myrtle Beach Vacation, that was Bittersweet, glad to be home but love the BEACH!
    Sunday We went into heavy duty planning mode. Song choices,called on hair and make up appts, e-mailed the bakery, emailed a few people about little things that will be needed, and tried to nail down registry stuff. I think my to do list is endless! haha
