how was your weekend?

GM! i know some people have off today (lucky!) but i'm guessing a lot of us don't.

I had a great weekend - tried to stay out of the lab, hung out with friends, and went to church with two of my sorority sisters. We also dyed eggs and played some wii games...it was great. Today i need to book my flight to Hong Kong for my conference and figure out how to get a chinese visa... eek!

GM! We had a great weekend!
Friday I was off so i ran a bunch of errands.. including getting my car inspected.. which is going to cost me 1200+ for it to pass inspection.. huge bummer. But friday night we got sushi and then just hung out with a few friends.

Saturday we continued our trim painting project & I worked on the invites. We met up with a few friends for dinner sat night at Andora (yum!)

Easter Sunday was a busy day.. church, brunch with fam, then over to my parents for a big family dinner.. it was soo fun and nice to see my extended family!

md - sounds like a great weekend! goodluck with the chinese visa!

Good morning. I had a great weekend in Pittsburgh with family and friends. I got a lot of last minute things done for the wedding. I have a short work week because the wedding is on Saturday! Wednesday after work we are driving back to Pittsburgh... now I'm starting to get nervous and excited.

Good Morning!!

I am here at work... boo!

My weekend was good. Friday, Fi and I just hung out. Nothing exciting. Saturday, he went to his B-Party and I went with my BM to get her dress altered, then we headed to my friends baby shower. After that, my BM and me went to the mall and to dinner. It was a fun day. Yesterday, I just hung out at home. I cooked some and cleaned. We also finished our programs and I got a good chunk of my shower thank yous done. Yesterday, was not easter at all to me. We didn't celebrate at all. I made dinner but that was about it.

FI had a good time at his B-Party. It sounded fun. They went skeet shooting, then went downtown for a steak dinner. After that, they went back to FI's BM's house and they had drinks and a stripper/waitress. FI said the stripper was awkward and was only there for about 15-20 minutes. He was tired when he got home on Saturday, but not super hung over. I'm glad he had a good time.

MD- Your Easter weekend sounds fantastic! GL booking your trip!

Morning!
I had a pretty nice weekend, even though FI worked every night

Friday FMIL and I went to FSIL's house for her Southern Living Home party - it was really fun and I got a few things... not NEARLY as much as I wanted though! Ha!

Saturday we slept in - it was glorious! I got up and worked out then FI had to go into work so I headed up to his parents house for the weekend. We hung out, had dinner, and dyed easter eggs with FI's niece! It was fun!

Sunday - Easter - we got up and hung out with his family for a bit then had an early dinner b/c FI had to go into work at 3:00 so we ate at 1:00. It was delicious! I headed back to our apt around 3:30-4:00 and just hung out with the pup the remainder of the night! I watched a few shows about the Royal Wedding and I'm getting pretty pumped!!

md - YAY for Hong Kong!!! I'm SUPER jealous! It's so exciting!

db - bummer about the car. FI had to get new brakes and tires a few weeks ago to pass inspection so we are in the same boat... couldn't have come at a worse time money wise though!

amy - CAN'T believe your wedding is THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!! So crazy!!! And so exciting you share a weekend with William and Kate

J - Sounds like a nice relaxing weekend! Glad FI had a good bach party and I completley hear you on the Easter thing... I totally didn't feel like it was Easter... at all.

I had a good weekend. On Friday night, FI had booked a getaway at the Fairmont downtown for the two of us, which included dinner at Habitat and spa services. Dinner was really incredible. On Saturday, FI used the gift certificated for a massage, and I was supposed to be at Macy's getting my make-up done for our e-pics, but our photog suggested that we cancel our epics, because it was supposed to storm from 1-9. I was SO bummed about canceling, but I also didn't want to get all ready and then be stuck in thunderstorms...it didn't rain AT ALL Saturday.

We went registering instead. Sunday we went to church, then went to my family for an Easter Egg hunt and dinner and then FI's family for dinner (we ate at like 4 and then again at 7:30...I'm still sooooo stuffed)!

Amy, enjoy your last week before the wedding!
md - seriously SO jealous about Hong Kong
DB- boo about the car...I've sunk so much money into my car

MRads- sorry about the engagement session, but hopefully you find a good weekend for it. How was the Fairmont?? FI and I are thinking of booking it for the night after the wedding, and maybe for getting ready for me, because he gets a sweet government rate (provided he stays in this job).

MD - I would HIGHLY recommend the Fairmont. I haven't stayed at any of the other downtown hotels, so I can't compare it, but the bathrooms were fairly large, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the closet was big. Since the walls to the outside are just glass, there would be some beautiful pictures. I would recommend it over other downtown hotels, too, because it is so close to market square. If you don't want to pay for breakfast or lunch at the restaurant, there are a ton of options in Market Square for you to choose from. Also, we paid $15 for parking for overnight, which is better than a lot of other hotels.

Hey everyone!

So my mom came in this weekend, which was a bit stressful. She is a lot to handle... By the end of Saturday both the FI and I were upset and ready for her to leave :-(

Sunday was ok though. I fixed a large Easter supper for just the 3 of us. It turned out well, so I am pretty proud.

My knee is still quite bad. By the end of the day yesterday I couldn't really walk on it again. The FI was good to me and kept getting me ice to put on it :-) I'm going to the Dr today to hopefully get some x-rays since it's not getting any better.

GMC- I am getting excited about this royal wedding too! lol

Mrads- That stinks about your engagement session. Where did you guys register at?

md- When do you leave for Hong Kong?

db- I have to get my car inspected too soon. Its really frustrating for me since we don't have inspections in KY, and I'm not used to having this additional car expense.

Jl- Yeah I think most guys find having attention from strippers at B parties awkward... Glad he had fun though.
