I can't even eat them without milk. But once I pour a glass of milk I have to eat as many cookies as it takes to soak up the whole glass. And the pretty colors bleed into the white milk. mmmmm

And then you run out of milk mid-cookie and you have to pour more, but then it's too much so you have to have another cookie. And on and on it goes...

So it's friday and I have a bit of the warm and fuzzies and I wanted to share. The last couple weeks have been kind of rough but I think they're finally starting to turn around. Between getting second degree burns from a stupid mistake, finding out my dad has cancer, and losing my wallet with two paychecks worth of cash waiting to be deposited in the bank that night, I have been pretty down in the dumps. BUT, my arm is finally healing, my dad's cancer is in his prostate and the doctors are very optimistic about his prognosis, and I have a new wallet, all my new cards, and one of my coworkers GAVE me money to replace what I lost. Seriously, wouldn't take no for an answer. I felt like a terrible person taking it but I'm going to start saving so I can pay him back and treat it as a loan. And my brother and sister in law are coming to visit this weekend.

I prefer double stuf oreos mmm

Same! Give me all the cookies, hold the cream.

  • Guys I has a sad :( but I don't feel like starting a new thread for it so I'm just putting here.

There is a wildfire in Idaho now that is really close to my home town. People have already been evacuated from the town 45 minutes away where I also have friends and BF has family. Seriously good vibes, thoughts, and prayers would be appreciated.

This is a picture a FB friend posted this morning. Even though I live in Colorado now this fire in Idaho is hitting a lot closer to home for me than the ones in Colorado.

That comment that Bri posted about someone saying they don't want an AIDS cookie...c'mon, really? Are there actually people out there that still believe this shiiit? They considered changing it in 2010 and determined that it was to stay the same: http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/story/health/story/2011-12-05/Federal-policy-blocks-many-gay-men-from-blood-donation/51650544/1

  • I just scanned that article but this stood out to me:

The ban has remained in place even though the FDA doesn't restrict even the most promiscuous heterosexuals from giving blood. And it imposes only a one-year waiting period on men who have had sex with a prostitute or a woman known to be infected with HIV.

So if you have sex with a person who DOES have HIV you can still give blood. But you happen to be gay, nope, sorry, we don't want your blood.

Today I was walking along the beach and came across this:

For size reference, here's one with my 60 pound German shepherd mix near it:

Also if anyone dreams of living near the beach, beware the Fourth of July. It's 10pm, I don't feel well, and someone is setting off fireworks. Which is making both dogs bark. Jerks...
