Desperately Seeking Restaurant to hold a wedding in Central/Northern New Jersey

Hi All,

I am seeking a venue to have my wedding. We are anticipating 100 guests (maximum) and want to have both the ceremony and reception in the same location.

Please share any restaurants that you may know of in the Northern/Central New Jersey area.

Also...dancing is a must! So the venue should accommodate for breaking down on the dance floor.

Thanks in advance!
Wink

  • What is your budget?
  • The Manor in West Orange has a beautiful room downstairs (not one of the main ballrooms that people usually use) that would be a great fit for your size wedding.  You can have your ceremony either inside or outisde and the food is amazing!  Good Luck!

My budget is $8,000 for the reception.
  • Are you looking for a specific day of the week or season?  That will help with your search.
  • Bridgewater Manor always has great promos running.
  • The English Manor in Ocean Twp is great we are having our Ceremony and Reception there and it really is beautiful!!!
  • My freind who recently got married and was on a tight budget ended up at the Elan.  the same place I am getting married.  Her wedding was scaled down a bit but I know they were wiling to work with her.  I had a great time and that is whay I decided to have my wedding there as well.

Ithink you have decide what is important to you and if you are will to sacrefice anything to get the price where you want it.

    Good luck!!!
  • What about the Bethwood in Totowa? I saw a promotion with $65 pp packages - with taxes and tip that's around $8000 for 100 people (a bit over)

PNC Reception Center in Holmdel (Merrimakers) might also be in that range (maybe?) or another Merrimakers venue?
