I have a friend who is a hair stylist. She's pretty run of the mill in a pricy salon. The 40.00 for a cut including just a trim kind of place.
She offered to do my hair and make up for free and charge a discount to my party. Since then it's nothing but what I should do and how she invisions my hair. I want soft simple waves and she wants a pin curl and victory rolls. I love vintage and I'm having a day of the dead themed wedding so it fits but I don't really want anything that complex.
And the discount for the girls is 60.00 for hair instead of 75. I could get a better deal for my girls if I went somewhere else and got a group rate.
I am also not impressed with her make up portfolio at all.
How do you tell a friend that she's just too pricy to use, without offending her?
