Ceremony Officiant Troubles

So originally we were planning to use my friend's dad (who I know very well) to do our ceremony next July, but today I just found out that he won't be able to perform the service (he is an episcopalian minister and they basically told him that he wasn't allowed to since we aren't episcopalian).  So now I'm back to square one.  Does anyone know of any wedding officiants that are good to work with?  I'm bummed because I wanted to have a personal connection with the officiant, but neither of us are very religous so we don't have a pastor/priest/minister that we know well.  So now I am just hoping to find a nice, easy to work with officiant (religious or not).  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Do you have a friend who you love and trust who is good in front of crowds? Anyone can become a minister these days. We are having a mutal friend perform the ceremony, and they will get ordained at this website:

I'm sure others have other suggestions as well, sorry I can't provide any names! Good luck in your search!

My fiance and I are being married by Reverend Linda Hampton and she has been amazing to work with so far. She does all types of ceremonies and is really sweet. She responds to emails quickly and was really helpful with organizing our ceremony and getting it exactly how we want it.

We still have a week and a half to go until our ceremony but I know she's going to be great. Her website is http://www.romanticweddingmoments.com/

    Good luck!

Thanks!  I'll look into them.  I checked out Judge Tom Armstrong's site.   Am I understanding this right...he charges about $300 for the ceremony and $250 for the rehersal?  That might be a little out of my budget....
