Rehearsal Dinner spot?

I am looking for suggestions for a place to hold our rehearsal dinner in November. We're getting married at Laurel Hall by Cathedral High School and our room block is at 96th and 1-69 so I would prefer some place around/between those two locations.

We're expecting to have between 40 and 50 people.

  • check out the Capri Restaurant - it's on Keystone a little before the 86th street exit (so not super close to your hotel block but not incredible far either). They have great customer service and delicious Italian food. A friend of mine had her rehearsal there and loved it.  it's very affordable too!

Fiance and I just had dinner there last week. The eggplant parmesan is to.die.for.

If you are looking for something a little more high end, Peterson's is one of the most hidden and most incredible restaurants in all of Indianapolis and is right by your hotel (at 96th and I-69).  http://www.petersonsrestaurant.com/private_dining.html

    Good luck!
  • My brother and sister-in-law used George's at 71st and Binford/i-69 and it was fantastic.

They can separate everything off to give you your own room and their menu is really diverse so you can go as casual or as fancy as you want.  Also, their bar is really big if you want to rollover a bit of an after party there.
  • I second the George's recommendation.  Had my step-dad's 60th suprise party there over the summer for about 30 people.  You can even personalize the menu/elimate some entrees, etc. to help keep costs controllable.
  • I talked to George's and they wanted $30-$35/head. Which is more than we wanted to spend.
