Silk Flowers

I just contacted the chapel I am thinking of using and they cannot do my flowers in silk. They did say that I could bring my own (no fees) and omit the fresh flowers from the package.

So, what florists in Las Vegas do silk flowers? Do you have a link that you can post? I would send them the picture of the bouquet and the requirements/instructions on how to make it.

Sorry I'm no help with someone in Vegas doing them, but have you looked at etsy? You could just order them on there and bring them to Vegas with you.

I'm going to make my own. I was surprised to see how easy it is. I've been wanting a calla lily boquet, and they are super simple! Lots of good instructional vids on youtube if you need to go that route.

I have never really heard of florists doing silk flowers. The only thing I can thing of is to call Pam and The Palette and see if she does them. If not, I second Etsy or make them yourself. You can pick up the supplies at any Michaels or other craft store for relatively inexpensive.

If you know how to make it, couldn't you just buy the materials and make it yourself to bring to Vegas? I know there's lots of craft stores and websites that sell nice looking silk flowers.
Otherwise, I'd say etsy. You can either look for one thats already advertised that you like or you can contact a seller who's products are similar and ask if they will make something to your specifications. (I've done this on items that are close to but not quite what I was looking for)

The problem seems to be that I cannot find rosebuds that don't have the dew drops on them! I have been searching online for silk flowers but either they don't have my color (white) or the flowers (rosebuds w/o the dew drops).

I didn't think I'd have so many problems! It looks simple enough:

Did you look at www.afloral.com? They have white rosebuds without dew drops on them.

It seems that I can get the rosebuds, carnations, baby's breat and pearl spray at Afloral but I am having a time finding parsley leaf, plummosus fern and rose leaves in silk!!

I know I can go to Joann's to get the cording.....

My Afloral order arrives Friday. I agree that silks are sometimes too difficult though. It took me ages to find the centerpiece flower. People kept telling me it was out of season. Now, how do silk flowers go out of season?!?!?

Why it is so difficult to find artificial parsley leaves, rose leaves and plumosus fern??

It seems that Etsy is mostly pre-made bouquets (tho a few items you can buy separately).
