When is the Bachelorette party typically held??

We are considering pole dancing lessons & the place books quickly. My MOH wants to book asap. So I am wondering when Bachelorette parties are usually held? A week before the wedding? A few days before? Etc Thanks!

I was under the impression from movies it was the night before but there is no way I would suggest that.

We did ours the weekend before the wedding.

Mine is the second weekend in May and we are getting married June 9. There is no real "set" time. That worked best with our showers and all the girls' schedules.

Mine was 3 weeks before the wedding (we did a lap dance class, it was actually really fun), H's was 2 weeks before the wedding.

Mine is the weekend before - I would serously discourage the night before. You really don't want to look haggard and trashed on your wedding day.

Mine is the month before but that's because of scheduling issues so the shower and bachelorette will be the same day.

Mine will probably be a good 4-5 weeks before the wedding. My MOH offered to plan it and she is an accountant. Her fall busy season is at the same time as my wedding and I'd rather celebrate early than stress her out with work any more than the wedding itself will.

Susan what do accountants do in September that's busy? I thought it was a Jan-April thing... my accountant friend can only take vacation days July-November.

That is the exact schedule of my parties and wedding lol that's funny! We are having the bridal shower and the bach party the second weekend in may and the wedding is june 9th...great minds think alike I guess

Anyway-pps are right...there's no set schedule. We did it this way because of out of town guests that are coming to both and also so that we don't all have to take like two weekends off work in the same month because as we all know, we have to pay the bills! Plus, this allows the next three weeks or so for my FI to plan his because the night before is not cool to get drunk. lol We are not doing ours the same night, because we have a one yr old at home so he watches her for mine, and I watch her during his...

Mine will be pretty early, in April while our wedding is July 7th... But this is because of scheduling issues for the girls, one is pregnant and wanted it to be before her due date, another one has college exams in May and June.

As long as it's before the actual wedding instead of after, you're good to go.

We are doing a 2 part Bachelorette party! part 1 we will be taking a trip to a theme/water park and floating around in the water with some margaritas

and Part 2 is getting drunk with my ladies at the casino clubs. So excited We are doing both within 2 weeks of the wedding.

We are doing the bach party 2.5 months before and the shower 2 months before. This leaves time to focus on the stressful wedding details as the day quickly approaches.

Mine will probably be a couple days before the wedding since most of my bridesmaids are from OOT. But my sister-in-law had hers on April 16 and her wedding was on May 7. My friend also had hers on April 16 (yes I went to 2 bachelorette parties in one night) and her wedding was on June 11. It's really about what is conveinient for you and who you want invited.
