Bumpy Arms

My arms have always had some 'chicken skin' on them (tiny bumps on my upper arms), but for some reason it is out of control right now.  Does anyone know a product that can smooth out my arms & take care of blotchiness?

Thanks!

Re: Bumpy Arms

  • There is this product called KP Duty. It is AMAZING. It's a little pricy (about $30 a tube), but it works wonders. I used it every day when I got out of the shower last summer, and it really, really helped. I think you can get it at sephora. Good luck! Megan
  • I bought the pastel color exfoliating gloves at CVS that I use with a sugar scrub I made using my regular body gel and the sugar.  Then I have been moisturizing them with heavy foot cream.  It has made an amazing difference!

  • I went to the Sephora website and see that there is  KP Duty lotion as well as a body scrub.  Anyone use one or both?  Which one if I only buy one?  Any input is appreciated.

  • It sounds like you might have keratosis pilaris.  google or wiki it and check it out.  Therre was a discussion about this the other day, on etiquette, I think.  It's a very common skin problem for women, and there isn't a whole lot the derm can do about it.  There are some relatively expensive but effective lotions you can use to help the condition.  Heres the link for the etiquette thread:

Thanks everyone!  I'm going to give the KP duty scrub a try.
