What are some good places other then chicago to go for our honeymoney in Illinois? or nearby....no more then a f5-6 hour drive

    Galena is amazing. It's beautiful and there's lots of parks and great restaurants. It's very picturesque and quiet. If you go to Southwest Michigan on the coast it's a short drive and there are lots of cute small towns like Douglas and St. Joseph. Lake Shelbyville is fun.

    I agree with Galena!  I wanted to get married there because it is so pretty!  Rolling hills, historic homes, on the Mississippi...etc  You will love it there.  :)

    Lake Geneva on the border over in Wisconsin is nice. Very quaint little town. Lots of bed-and-breakfast places to stay. Swimming/jetskiiing/parasailing on lake geneva.

    There are some really great bed and breakfasts in Old Town (Chicago.)
