Recommend your florist

I'm getting married in manhattan in may next year - smaller wedding, and looking for a bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets, some bouts and 4-5 centerpieces. I like fluffy flowers, like peonies, hydrangea, cabbage roses, ranunculus etc, and all-white and "Martha Stewart-esque" flowers. Am I making sense?

Sorry, anyways, I was wondering if anyone had recommendations and or pictures/price guidelines for florists in the area?

TIA!!

    Cress Florist
http://www.cressweddingflowers.com/...I worked with Tommy. Sweet old man. Many things I loved about this florist.  The minute I walked in the shop I new I was going to spend more than intended, because it is so welcoming! It's a family owned business.  Never been to a flower shop where it looked like they had every variety of flower.  Such a cozy atmospher.  One-on-one personal time and he creates the sample exactly the way it will look the day of your wedding.  He'll keep going through flower samples until you find what you want. Matches the flowers to your dress, gives you the flowers you want and works with whatever budget you have.  I got more for my money, stuck to my budget and his eye for detail was comforting! The have many awards for their work. Always heard good things about them.

We are probably using Cress as well!  They are top-notch and work very closely with you to get the look you want.  Tom and Lori completely understood what I was looking for and had great ideas.  My mother has a friend who sends her arrangements from Cress regularly and they are always stunning.

We will also be interviewing Flowers of the World, Ariston, and Celadon & Celery but I think Cress will be hard to beat!

My friend owns her own florist - a small company but she does outstanding work and the quality is excellent.  She's doing the flowers for my wedding at the boathouse in December:

I LOVE our florist-- he used to have a shop just down the block from me in Astoria and has since moved to the Roosevelt Ave stop in Jackson Heights underground. Sad location, but he does amazing things (used to design for a Saudi prince!). Bonus is you get to eat delicious food after visiting ;)

    Flower Concept

He just put together our sample centerpieces and I love them: antique hydrangeas, garden roses and tulips seem to be shooting out from around. He can do anything you want really if you have a pic, or ideas, or just flowers. I love peonies but they are not in season for our winter wedding ;( My bouquet will be Italian renunculous (love these, similar to peonies) and anemonies (I call them tuxedo flowers, so cute).

Ariston Florist! I know some people who have used them and said their work was absolutely incredible.  They really helped them to figure out the perfect arrangements for their weddings!
