Glitter.

One of our wedding guests gave us a present that was wrapped in glitter paper with matching glitter tissue.  The sh!t has shed and there is glitter everywhere.  All over the other gifts, my car, my clothes, our couch, the dogs, everywhere.
It looks like a stripper exploded in our house.

Lol for real though, I get that it's pretty, but I can commiserate.  We had one gift with glittery ribbon and that ish got everywhere.  Just don't get it in your eyes.

  • My CW was out the other day and I had to check her email and there was glitter makeup EVERYWHERE. All over the keyboard, the mouse, the desk, EVERYWHERE. Mind you this is a 35 year old woman, she looks great and all but I really think it is time to put down the fucking glitter.

We used to use glitter for Halloween costumes, and it stayed in our house until the NEXT Halloween.  Ditto Easter grass.

  • I hate those little metalic things that people put in envelopes, so when you open the envelope and pull out the card it spills all over.

Ditto on the Easter grass.  Banned in my house also due to vacuum destruction.

  • My niece stayed with us the week of Valentines. She came home every day that damned week with shiiit covered in glitter. I'm still trying to get the glitter out of my placemats.

GAH! My dad/brother are the custodians at church and they had to clean up after a St. Patrick's Day wedding where they used little metallic shamrocks and green glitter in the programs.
  • My mom put all our gifts in the car for us to open on our wedding night . All the glitter got all over the hotel room. *cue evil laughter*
  • Just dump some glitter in your thank you note envelope.  A glitter explosion is well deserved.

  • I made an ornament wreath with some glittery ornaments for Christmas last year. H helped. He had a cold. The poor man sneezed glitter for a week.

Also, the cat looked extra fabulous. The blue glitter on his grey fur made him look like a superstar.
  • This is by far the funniest post I've read so far! Lol! Wish I had a glitter story to share :)
