Our wedding was Saturday (6-30) and before I leave for the HM, I thought I would post about our vendors.
Reception Hall- Executive Court: Amazing!!!! The staff there was truly wonderful. They answer every email within just an hour or so (and always apologize for not answering right away). They were always easy to talk to and really cared about what we wanted. The food, we heard, was great...since you barely eat on your day as it is. The service was fabulous, the grounds are beautiful, they work great with the Best Western that connects with them. I can't say enough GREAT things!!!
Florist- PJ's Flowers: Job really well done!!! Patrick is amazing, his work is to die for! I loved all our flowers, they were exactly what I wanted. He had great visions but let me think of my own as well. One thing that was difficult with working with him, he wasn't the easiest to get in touch with. He doesn't know how to work his email so well and his staff doesn't seem to answer all the time. But his work was truly great & he really takes pride in what he does!
Cake- Jacques Pastries: GORGEOUS!!!! I know their cakes are delicious because the cake tasting was great...but we didn't even get to have any the night of the wedding
But the cake it's self was exactly how we pictured it and the executed it perfectly. They called the week of the wedding just to double check everything which I thought was really good of them, showed they truly cared.
Photographer- William T. Moore: Very pleased so far with his work. Since it's only been 2 days we only have a sneak peek BUT it's only been 2 days and we ALREADY have our sneak peek
He was easy to work with,always answered emails/phone calls etc. He took our ideas and worked them into pictures the day of the wedding. He arrived right on time and left after the time he was supposed too. PLUS he came to our rehearsal so he could get the lighting right in the church before the actual day. We thought this was great, he really went the extra mile for us.
Transporation- Grace Limo: PERFECTION! Grace Limo was perfect from the very start. Their staff responded quickly to all emails and phone calls. Their service the day of was impecable. We had a 9 person limo and the '56 Bentley...both drivers were dressed to impress and were so easy to talk too! Grace called us about 2 hours before they were to arrive to let us know the Bentley has no AC (since it's older) and wanted to know if we wanted to switch to a town car. Obviously, stayed with the Bentley but I thought it was so nice of them to call and for worn us (since it was 90+ degrees).
Wedding dress- Madeline's Daughter: LOVE this place!!! The gowns are fabulous, the staff was great, the place is beautiful, the rooms are private!!!!!! We worked with Kerri and she was amazing!!!!!
Tux's- George's Appareal: OK....they were nice to work with but seem very disorganized (this could have just been our person we worked with, Bobbi). You don't make appointments so you just go in...which works both ways. A few times we walked right in with no wait, other times it was packed and seemed rushed. Groom's fathers tux was HUGE on him...but they overnighted him the correct size. Groom had asked for no pleats and they got him pleated pants, not the end of the world. Ring bearers were told to order tux's from an online site (bc it was cheaper then renting) but George's would still do alterations and rent them the matching ties and vests. They were a week late with their alterations, so we got them the day before the wedding. And they told us it was no where in the file that they were suppose to be renting ties & vests...so the day of the wedding their parents had to run around and find yellow ties. In the end, everyone looked good but I wasn't overly pleased. My mother says this happens often though at many tux rental places.
