  It is a really wonderful season.  I was on their board of trustees for 2 years and I twice cochaired their Nutcracker Ball fundraiser, and loved everything about the dance company.  They are world class.

  I agree, they are all world class performers. I had seen The Nutcracker as a kid and my FI had never been to a ballet at all. We went to see Dracula for Halloween a couple years back and then saw Cinderella in the spring. We've enjoyed both very much and decided on a subscription this year. I think we may become subscription holders every year from now on. We don't go out very often so this just might kinda become our thing, kinda like date night.
  
  I bet being on the board and cochairing the ball was really fun.

  It was!  You picked good ones.  Dracula and Cinderella are fun.  I also was on a committee called TLC, where we brought meals backstage to the dancers during performance season and peak rehearsal times.  Sometimes they needed to keep their strength up because they danced like 8 hours a day.  So we on the committee would make huge meals for like 30 people and bring them down to them.  They were so sweet and appreciative.  They are really like artistic athletes, and do such beautiful work.  Nutcracker season is so much fun--such a Cincy tradition.
  And I agree, the ballet is perfect for date night.
