Venue help in the Inland Empire

Hello, I decided to begin my own post (and I've been searching others on the board) because I am in need of suggestions for a venue. I am in a bit of panic. I just learned that the venue in Moreno Valley that we have reserved may begin construction and they have a right to cancel any events during that time. Our wedding is set for August 3rd, so we have a little time, but being thrust back into not having a venue is a little unnerving.

Our budget is 10K and our date is on a Saturday. The venue in Moreno Valley is the Sunnymead Lake Club, which is the club house for a community of homes that sits on the lake in the community. It's a facility where we bring our own vendors and I have a really good caterer already on board.

Does anyone know of any location in the Inland Empire that sounds similar? I love water but I'd take a really nice view, as well. I'd appreciate any help that you can give me. Thank you!

  • The cheapest country club type venue I saw was Oak Quarry in Riverside / Fontana area. Sierra Lakes off the 10 in Fontana, Indian Hills Country Club in Riverside or Vesada on Green River golf course in Corona. All of these have views and the area for sierra lakes and Vesada is really pretty.

I also someone post a link to the Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club a few weeks ago.

I also had a 10k budget and all of these were able to work with it. I'm not sure if they allow you to bring in your own vendors though. You can call and ask.

  • Hello, I'm Just curious i'm also looking for a venue around the same area... and I had heard about Sunnymead Ranch Lake Club, I know they are going to be doing some renovations, but I was wondering do you have to live in Sunnymead Ranch to rent the Lakeclub?
  • There is a place called The Orchard in Menifee on 29015 Garland Lane OR Monteleone Meadows in Murrieta that are venues under $10,000 and both have lakes.  Good Luck.

It depends on your guest count.

OP; I have a brochure for this location that I can send to you if you need it.
  • Try Eagle Glen Country Club in Corona.  It's beautiful...it backs up on the mountains and has wonderful views.
  • Hello,

I haven't logged on to the knot in a few months so I hope that this response is still of some use. No you do not be a resident to rent the lake club at Sunnymead Ranch. However, call because the last word from them was that they were canceling all rentals for the remainder of 2013 because decisions on the renovation schedule have not been made yet.

    Again, hope that this helps!

  • Thank you so much for your responses. They were a HUGE help!!! We have decided to go with Sierra Lakes Golf Club. We've gone to their Sunday Champagne brunch when they first opened and the food is great! Thank you again.
