I wouldn't be surprised if she was lurking. If she comes back, great. But I do hope that she finds strength and an outlet IRL either way so that she can be happier too.

I find it interesting that after years/months of support and amicable conversation, after one time of being disagreed with or offered some harsh reality truth.... people suddenly decide we are all ONLY bitches and nothing else.

ITA I can only listen to (read) someone's problems and offer supportive words for so long. There's a point where enough is enough and something has to be said. I have my own problems in life that I'm trying to sort through. I cannot continuously be bogged down by others' problems without finally having to say something. If that makes me a doucher, then so be it, but it shouldn't discount all of the previous advice and support given over the months/years you (general you) have been around here.

Exactly. I've had people IRL give me harsh realities before and afterward I've always appreciated it. I don't know why internet friends should be any different.

I think everyone's allowed to have some down times MK. Especially in circumstances like your own. I know I was in a real funk for a month or two after my aunt died. It's just when it's for a prolonged period of time and the person doesn't do anything to help themselves and just makes excuses or places the blame on someone else that it starts to get on my nerves.

MK - I hear ya. I haven't seen you as being a Debbie Downer. I worry sometimes that I am too one track about H being gone and the relocation and stuff, but I try to mix it up a little.

I'm gonna bury this in here too.. I need some job luck sent my way. I have a phone screen with HR for 1 company at 4:45 tonight and a phone interview with the hiring manager at another company tonight at 7. At this point I'd take either job based on what I know of them, but I'd prefer the first one at 4:45.
