  Me, personally, if you don't have a church, or religion isn't important to you in your day to day life, it's weird to get married in a church just to get married in a church.  So, like PP suggested, you could get married where you're having the reception, or look into St. Cecilia's, where I had my ceremony.

  the reception place we have won't work for the ceremony. I did send St. Cecilias an email though, thanks so much, it looks perfect.

  You could also consider non-traditional locations such as the Grand Rapids museums. I think they are a bit more expensive, but would probably be nice as well.

  my fiance's step dad works at a club/bar kind of place, we are having it there, but it just wouldn't work to have the ceremony there too.

  We had 75 invited, but only 50 attended.  The room can definitely hold more, plus there is the theater as well as the room upstairs that holds more also.
