Custom dressmaker in Bay Area/Norcal

I have fallen in love with a Laure de Sagazan dress which I can't afford with the $3k price tag. I would love any recommendations for dressmakers in the Bay Area, Northern California, or online (reputable). Thank you!

I don't know of any dress makers, but a couple of questions for you? Have you tried that dress on, or a style like it? Many brides will try on their "dream dress" and find that it isn't nearly as flattering on them as they thought, or as it is on photoshopped models.

Second, you might want to take a full length photo of the dress to a salon. Many lower cost designers have dresses that are very similar in cut to the higher end designers, and a good salon should be able to find you something similar. It won't be exact and it may not be as high quality fabric, but they can normally find something pretty close.

PS - I realize these aren't the same, but since I can't see the bottom of the dress, I don't know exactly what you are looking for. But you can tell, that beautiful lace gowns can come with much cheaper price tags. Try going to the Alfred Angelo signature store in Roseville. Or a store that carries Mori lee and Casablanca. All three have some amazing gowns that are much more budget friendly and might have something similar to what you are looking for.
