I've always been too scared to cut my hair off...it's always been long, and is almost to my waist now. Just below my shoulders is the shortest I've ever had it, and probably the shortest I ever will have it (at least for the next couple of decades...I might change it drastically when I get much older.)

mine is not chubbier. if anything, my short hair is more flattering than my long hair. reason being that without all the weight of having long hair, I have short layers and more volume on top. more volume on top = illusion of slimmer cheeks.

I chopped mine. I love it short. I thought it looked awful long. I say do it. How bad could it possibly be?

For me, I think it did perhaps a little- but I was actually sort of happy about that because my face is thin and I prefer not to accentuate that...

(ok so upon reflection my face doesn't look thin in the above! but it did sometimes with longer hair).

I think if you are going to chop it off, then now is the time to do it (summer=hot), I am waiting until we have a baby to do the chop.

Funny you should say that; I had a hard time cutting off my hair because I kept thinking that bobs were 'mum haircuts', haha.

It does depend, but with your face shape I think it would work really well, I have had my hair from below my sholders to the tops of my earlobs-- it was really really short. I'm in the process of growing my hair from around my chin to below my sholders because I want 'princess' hair for my wedding-- very excited!

i love love love having short hair but it's not for everyone.

the good news (as others have pointed out) is that hair grows back.

I'm going to get my hair cut off on Tuesday. It'll be going to a charity similar to Locks of Love. I think it'll either be 8-10 inches.

I haven't had my hair cut in a LONG time so I'm a little scared, but its been 100+ here a lot and I'm just soo tired of the long hair.
