35dollar savings..

Im going to be doing chair covers and sashes for the reception. I found an online company that rent them for dirt cheap. .25 for each sash and chair cover. They price they quoted me was for shipping both ways. My venue said they will set up for for 18 dollars per person and 18 dollars per hour. Where I live has a local company who will come and set them up and come back to pick up wheb reception is over. I will save 35 dollars if I go with the only company. WWYD ? Online company or local company ?

  • They are going to charge you $18 a chair to put on the slipcover? At that rate I'd get some girls together or the moms and do it myself. But, I am not doing chair covers so there you go......

  • No..lol..the venue is charging 18 per person and 18 per hour that it takes them to set them up. They said it should only take 2 ppl and 1 hour.

  • I don't know if $35 would be "enough" of a savings when you start to think about having to gather and ship back the linens after. That also means that you would have to have someone in charge of taking them from the venue. Don't know how I feel about that. But ultimately its your decision.

<div>Ditto. If the savings was bigger, I'd go with the online company. However, it's one less thing to worry, so I'd probably go local.</div>

I'd go local for the reasons PPs stated and I like to be able to physically get my hands on my vendors.
