Outdoor ceremony/reception

So I am helping a friend with her wedding, and she is wanting to get married outside and have the reception at the same spot. What they really want is to have it on private property, or somewhere that is flexible with the rules. Does anyone know of anywhere like this? No one they know has a huge backyard or anything like that. Any help would be nice. TIA

    What does flexible with the rules mean, exactly?  You're looking for somewhere they'll let underage kids drink or some other illegal activity?

    No illegal activity or anything like that, they just want to do everything themselves. They would cater in food, but they have been together for a few years, and have 2 kids together, so they want something informal, fun, and not pay a ton for every little detail.

    Take a look @ St Paul Public Parks.  They have a ton of great spaces - I'm a particular fan of the Phalen Park Ampitheatre/Pavillion - you're looking at a couple hundred $ for a 4 hour event and you can use any vendor you want (although you can't serve hard liquor).
