Hi I'm Newly Engaged!

My fiance proposed after 5 yrs together in St. Thomas on 11/29/10 :-) :-)....we are thinking we will get married next October or November on a beach in southern California.  Does anyone have any suggestions for a venue??  I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and I know October is a great time of year here...will it be warm enough in Oct-Nov in California for a beach wedding??

    Welcome and congratulations!

    I would recommend checking out the local board for the area in California you're thinking about getting married. The girls on there would probably have better/more specific ideas for a venue.

    The first thing that comes to mind is Hotel del Coronado on Cornodao Island in San Diego. Gorgeous hotel, great beaches and nice little town.

    Like pp said a local board will know better, it's been 6 years since I lived in San Diego.

    It can get chilly in the evenings, but shouldn't be downright cold. If you do an outdoor reception renting those tall space heaters would be nice.
