How did ur ultrasound go???

My blackberry doesn't like the forums so I really can only get on FB...
The ultrasound as Shannon said showed its not a clot, so atleast I don't have to worry about that (of all their theories its the only one that was potentially majorly harmful).
At this point we're going to keep trying to figure out what it is. I still have no feeling from my ankle down. We did testing on stimulus and what I could actually feel in my foot, and although I can feel a sensation, I can't feel the difference between different things at this point.
My next appt is with my Dr this coming Wed night to start looking into theories like nerve damage/pinched nerves/etc.

I can tell that something touches my foot, everything seems cold, and my foot feels like ice. They did a test hard vs soft with cotton and a paperclip and I had a hard time trying to figure that out

Hi Britt,

Glad it isn't a clot. Did this come on all of a sudden or gradually or time? Hopefully it is something that isn't serious and can be easily fixed once they have a diagnosis.

Not to butt in, but I know you are concerned and she updated FB. She said it wasn't what they thought (I assume she means it isn't a clot) but they don't know what it is. So she knows no more than before ;-(

Thanks Shannon for the update : ) I don't go on facebook so Im out of the loop!! Britt~ I'm glad it wasn't a clot. It made me nervous all day! I hope they find out what it is so you can get it taken care of fast! Do they have any idea what would cause nerve damage? Can you feel the difference between hot and cold?? If you can't get on TK, please someone keep me updated!! I love all my knottie friends too and want to make sure everything was ok!

I don't really have 'trouble' walking but it does hurt a lot in the areas of the leg that I have feeling. Also I find that it gets worse anytime I am keeping my leg still in one spot for any period of time... sitting at a desk, sleeping, etc

I'm glad to hear it's not a clot. I'm sure it's still scary not knowing what it is though. The not being able to feel the difference of things worries me.

Ya, the not knowing isn't very comforting, but atleast none of the other theories they have right have quite the same fears/reprocussions as the blood clot theory...
