Random Poll: Kiddos

Since everyone but Amer and I are loving babies right now LOL....

What physical feature of yours would you want your biological kid to have?  Not have?

What physical feature of your FI/SO/H would you want your biological kid to have?  Not have?

I'd want my kids (or crumb snatchers as Nicole calls them) to have my height and over all body type. I'd not like them to have my curly frizzy hair.

I'd love for FI to pass on his blue eyes. They're gorgeous. I'd prefer them to not get his feet or thighs (which are super muscular - would not work on a girl).

PS- you and Amer are not alone. While I don't mind kids and babies are cute - I am no where near having baby fever.

Oh boy, what a fun question!
My feature, eyes or nose to have. Not have, teeth. My FI features to have eyes again and smile, not have nose!

Girl = my height. Boy = DH's height.

We pretty much look the same/have all the same features. I hope our kids have my metabolism because it kicks ass.... but aside from that, I just hope it looks like us in some way. I've seen kids that look NOTHING like each parents, I'd like my kid to look like me in some way.

I really, really want a red head but it's probably not likely.  DH is one of 6 kids.  Three have red hair (including him - although his has gotten a lot lighter).  Neither of his two sisters with red hair have red headed children.  My mom says there is red hair in our family, but it goes back several generations.  Still, I've got my fingers crossed.

Both DH and I have blue eyes, so genetically our kids will have them.  I'm hoping they get DH's red hair (there are redheads on my side too).  I hope they get DH's metabolism, body type and apparent inability to physically age.

    >>Since everyone but Amer and I are loving babies right now LOL....<<,

LOL!  I mean, I want them eventually, I guess.  haha.

IF we have them, they are going to look like JEGs-- it's not even an option.  He looks SO MUCH like his mother, and I don't really look like either of my parents, I have a feeling his genes are going to beat up my genes and leave them for dead.

Regardless, they will probably have blue eyes (since both of us do).  I hope to God they are all tall like him, and they have his beautiful curly hair-- just not the crazy fro hair that is back at his crown.

I wouldn't mind if some of them are red-heads like me :)  and I hope they get my nose.

I'd love to have blonde kids. My hair was platinum blonde until I was like 7 y/o. DH has almost black hair. I'd like them to have my nose, which is smaller than my DH. And DH's smile. I think we both have beautiful brown eyes, so we're probably covered there. =)

I wouldn't want the kids to have red hair. Boys especially. Kids tease too much.
  • edited December 2011
Was I the only one teased about red hair, and seen boys with bright red hair being teased!?

I don't mind redheaded boys, as long as they aren't that crazy orangy red.  My nephew has a pretty color red:

Future children... I want DD to have my hair, my eyes and I guess my nose. Not my body type! I'd like them to have FI's height, body type and athleticism. I wouldn't mind a brunette baby either...

Amer, that is a good color. Almost brown. Lots of boys have the bright color. I like that color. Mine is not the color of my cousins hair either. This girls have brighter, more orange hair color. Who knows why mine is this color.

I want to pass down my green eyes (or blue) and athleticism.  I do not want to pass down my ability to gain fat on my belly or bad sinuses!

I would want DH's metabolism for sure and his long Snuffleupagus eyelashes.  I would not want him to pass down his skinny legs.

We both have larger noses, so I think kid is SOL.

DH had the crazy red/orange hair growing up.  But I guess he didn't mind because he wants red heads too.

FI and I are both pale, freckly, green-eyed, and have red (for him) or reddish blonde (for me) hair. So I'm pretty sure our kids are going to be that color combo too. I really hope they get FI's height and eyesight. It stinks being short and having to wear contacts.

What physical feature of yours would you want your biological kid to have?  Not have?

My eye color and nose, my skin tone,my height for a girl. NOT my metabolism

What physical feature of your FI/SO/H would you want your biological kid to have?  Not have?

His eye lashes and lips (I have no top lip when I smile and I hate it!) His height for a boy. Not his ears, there a little on the big side ;)

Red hair runs in both of our families, he has some red facial hair. I wouldn't mind a little red head.

Our kids will most likely be cursed with kinky curly hair since we both have it!

We both have blue eyes, so YAY!

My ears, freckles, my hair (blonde as a kid, and wavy) but not my shortness, I'm 5'1 on a good day

His height, ability to lose weight like nothing but not his big head (this might selfish on my part...)  OH and not 10 lbs when they are born.  I think his son was 12 lbs and his daughter 10 or 11.... NOT.GOING.TO.HAPPEN!

My kids are going to have CURLY hair.  They have no choice.  Gzilla has a fro... and I have wavy/curly hair when I don't kill it with a flat iron.

They'll also probably have light-ish eyes.  Gzilla's are green, and mine are this freaky tie-dye blue, green, brown, and gold.

Oh, and they're going to be short.  If they're over 5'5", I'm going to be shocked.  My dad is really (really) tall, but everyone else in my family is small (not quite as short as Lemma... hahaha) and Gzilla's whole family is small.

The only trait of mine I wouldn't want them to have... is my laugh.  There are two "curses" on my father's side.  One is the family laugh... and one is the family nose.  The nose I lucked out on.  The laugh, not so much.
Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

Oh, MH and Amer, please let me in your club. I mean, I love other people's children, but am not interested in any for myself right now.

I hope they get my ability to sing and my super-speedy test taking skills (okay, so it's not physical, but it's surely inheritable, right?). I hope as children they have my cheeks, but that they grow out of it like I was unable to!

I hope they get DH's metabolism, as well as his energizer-bunny-like seeming endless reserves of energy. I also hope that as children they are morning people like him so I don't have to fight with them to get out of bed and ready for school. And his eyelashes.

Like RA's children, mine are also destined for curly hair. And it's gonna be brown, since we both have brown hair (although I was blonde as a child).
And they're the five best friends that anyone could have, the five best friends that anyone could have! Photobucket
