My AW moment of the day...my mom just treated me to a clothes shopping spree. I was terrified because I haven't gone clothes shopping since I gained the 25 pounds after the wedding and looked at myself in the mirror.
Not only did I find a ton of cute clothes that looked really great on me, I discovered that my 13 pounds lost contributed to almost 2 clothes sizes! Yay!

Nick took me to the zoo and then we got ice cream! They had a new dipped cone, cotton candy flavor...oh boy, cotton candy is my favorite flavor of anything, so I was just on cloud nine!

My AW of the day is that I booked a wedding venue and I'm fucking THRILLED about it. My other AW is that FI and I finally decided to do something about our ever expanding asses and went and joined the Y. I ran a mile, which I haven't done sinced I was 15. And lifted weights. I've gained 20 lbs in the last year and I'm about to make a concentrated effort to lose it. And then quit smoking after I've lost the weight.

I'm going to AW the fact that FI's grandmother is pissed at me and was trying really hard to to ignore me all day today. She's crazy and mean and I hate her, but FI is her favorite grandchild, and up until now she's loved me. Her birthday and my mom's birthday are on the same day so FI and I split up and each went to our own family's get-together. We did the same thing for mother's day. So basically she's holding a grudge because I spent time with my own family instead of FI's. It was so nice to not have to deal with her.

I have nothing to AW really. Spent the day working on the garden; finished the fence to keep wabbits out, laying down landspace fabric between boxes, bought stuff to make dirt to fill said boxes and plants. I wanted to have everything planted by now, but it was too hot yesterday to be outside in the sun.

I had my first dress fitting this week and it fit PERFECTLY! No alterations needed at all and my new 3.5 inch heels for the wedding are the perfect height for the dress! Annddd they are doing my bustle for free! Yayy!!

Thanks! I'm excited! I worked in a big box store and it was really, really time to move on. Retail is kind of hit or miss though. Whoops, sorry I posted and ran!

I'm going to be moving to Milwaukee at the end of the summer. I ended up getting a fellowship to work on my dissertation anywhere I choose, so that made things work out pretty well for us. I'm excited. :)

My girlfriend has clip in extensions. Solid blonde. BUt she's got lots of highlights and lowlights. So, I lowlighted her extensions on Friday night and they turned out amazing! I have never personally coloured extensions so, it was a first tonight.
