SWR: Bellevue restaurant suggestion

Okay ladies (and gent) need suggestions on a restaurant in Bellevue for dinner.  Semi-nice, not to expensive, a place where 4 ladies can go for dinner, mingle (and hopefully laugh out loud and not be glared at for it), has good positive vibes but we can hear each other and our conversation.  It's gotta be Bellevue or south Kirkland or north Renton. TIA!

Mingle - with other folks or just yourselves? I'm always a fan of Pogacha :) Will thin of other options, too.

Where's the Pogacha?  Mingle with ourselves - chance for MOH and CA BM and I to sort of hang out and the two to get to know each other better.

    What about the melting pot??
For my birthday we did happy hour there & it was cheap! Our food was only $22/person!

I'd have to say Cheesecake Factory, and sit in the bar area. :)

Hmm... These are a few of my favorites.

Kirkland - Lucia, or Brix wine bar in Juanita

Bellevue - Purple, Pearl, Joey's, El Gaucho, Artisanal (the bistro you can order pizzas and split it. So yummy).

    Redmond - The Matador

Your best bet is to shoot for a happy hour if you can get into it early and just pig out on appetisers and drinks. That will open up your options a lot more. I have been to most of the restaurants and Bellevue, so if your curious about one don't be afraid to ask. Here is a REALLY helpful resource:

Oh I forgot, there is a Tutta Bella in Issaquah now too, if you want to go there. I don't know how loud it gets, though.

Thanks for the list, ladies!  I'm going to look into some of them further!  I totally forgot about some of the restaurants in Bellevue (Earls, El Gaucho, etc) so the refresher is good!

Tutta Bella in Issaquah gets REALLY loud!  The whole thing is like, warehouse style inside.  It is horrible.  I recommend the 520 Bar & Grill on Main Street in "old town" Bellevue.  The food is good, the atmosphere is nice, and it's tiny, so it can't get too loud.
I also second Matador (the food is amazing), but it can have a really long wait for a table if going on a Friday or Saturday night.

Lol, I was just thinking of the 520 grill actually!  We wouldn't be going to Issaquah (MOH would be driving from Redmond and lives in Kirkland - total opposite direction) so definitely no on Tutta Bella, but good to know about it.  Sounds like it's similar to Cheescake Factory when it comes to noise level.

LOVE the Melting pot.  Plus the food makes for really fun conversation.  Highly recommend!
