New here and in need of major help

Hi my name is Raylynn. I'm not new exactly I've been a member if the knot for over a year but this is my first time posting. I do have a question for anybody who lives in or knows the Colorado area well. I am looking for a rustic barnlike venue in the Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. I will have between 75-80 people but my budget is around $700 for a ceremony and reception site that includes tables. I appreciate any and help you can give me. Thank you.

  • Spurce Mountain Ranch. This place is beautiful....It is in Larkspur but you get off on the Monument exit. I did a photo shoot here recently and loved it. Another is Crooked Willows. It is a big red barn but very classy. Those would be my top two venues. Please let me know if you have any other questions I would love to help!

<div>Those are awesome options, but they are well beyond the OP's price range that was listed ($700) <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif" border="0" alt="Frown" title="Frown" /> I was looking for a barn venue in the same area, and the lowest price I found was $1500 in Woodland Park at a privately owned barn. </div><div>
</div><div>OP -- Do you have military connections? You could use the Farish Recreational Area (gorgeous mountain meadow -- you could easily make this feel rustic) up in Woodland Park for a smaller fee, and then possibly have photos taken at a nearby barn? I know that the Academy Riding Stables in Colorado Springs allows photo shoots at their stables with horses for a small fee. I hope these ideas help! You could also check the Stables at the Broadmoor -- when I was up there riding not too long ago, they said their site fee would be about $300.</div>
